He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
