History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Pûg does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Pûg reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy
