History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Gardain enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. After a long history of fighting, Gardain and his spouse have recently divorced.
