His attire stands in sharp contrast to his kukri, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was a Cook, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is content; and retire the richest man in the north
