History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pikar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Roondar was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Slave Trader and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Arnold began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and wants to work out more often
