Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people.

History: Reynard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kerkad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a rival would like him out of the picture
