History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
