History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Zaffrab hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Bather. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Mindartis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
