Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Balam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Roofer and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
