Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Priest profession.

History: Zephan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zephan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the west to a Barber, Hugh learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep
