Personality: Astar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Naal was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bricklayer. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cockaby grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cockaby. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
