History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Enialis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Enialis. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Guard father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.
