One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gerald has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and retire the richest man in the south
