History: Kellen was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tricking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and many illithids want him driven away
