Description: 5'5" and muscular, this western man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is auburn and curly. This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants revenge against drow

Description: He wears just a white suit. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His yellow eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Cloud was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cloud's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears his brown hair up. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the south to a Baker, Purson learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Purson never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
