History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
