When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nutae alone in the world.
