History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Roondar will drive conversation. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Raer enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break
