Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are violet.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He stands about 3'7" and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is long and red with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are green.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and he perpetually has his spear ready. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Tordek was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

Description: An older man who wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his greataxe, he is not a threatening figure. His tied-back hair is blonde. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
