Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jade embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. A true patriot, Jade would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Jade was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stableman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His tied-back hair is white. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Borun lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: Standing 4'5", this man very much looks the part of a Carter. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gardain will drive conversation. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gardain took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His orange fur is still thick. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When Silent reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again.
