History: Born in the east to a Barber, Shamash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Shamash was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shamash decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a tattered pair of loose yellow pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His fur is orange and very short. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Flask and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and revenge

Description: This late middle aged man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination and is in decent physical shape. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His black eyes peer out from beneath his small black hat.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Vassago hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Vassago abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vassago fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

His gray eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Crampernap grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
