History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
