Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: This late middle aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather and is in decent physical shape. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Lewis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a grey vest and prefers brown and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His yellow fur is thinning but still full. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Kite would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his falchion, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Vlorn was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Fargas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
