Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pijjirik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Crampernap and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, grey cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is auburn and curly. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. His chestnut hair is still thick. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Gifted from a young age, Sheggen studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sheggen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sheggen. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture
