History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He has gold eyes and a brown hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. After months of barely getting by, Barakas managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and money/treasure

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has wavy black hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He stands about 5'10" and is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and black handkerchief worn on his right side. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His brown fur is unkempt and raggedy. He is baby faced.

Personality: Cloud speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Cloud enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Priest kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is wearing a long, brown cloak. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tethren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
