History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'3". He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and gnomish compassion

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a black feathered hat and black clothes. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. He has moderate length red hair. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love
