Joser's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He struck the Spy job and began his own company from there.
