History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. During his travels, Shifting and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shifting discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shifting fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Description: An older man who very much looks the part of a Assassin, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Doctor for hire.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
