Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and is pretty ugly. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 89. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Veit does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born into a rich family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His bronze crest is still thick. His half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: He is lean but muscular and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has shaved his head bald. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Rangrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Tricking was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Gerbo was born with his father's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
