This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Rathkran reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Rathkran and his spouse have recently divorced.
