History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Borun alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Hubert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Orc people; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
