Gargax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gargax. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Nirgel and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. A true patriot, Veit would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Veit hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Veit was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
