Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he very much looks the part of a Blacksmith. His dark red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are silver and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Akmen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Akmen has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Fisher who has hired him part-time. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to settle down with his crush

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has wavy dark red hair. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Mordai and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He typically wears yellow cloth garments or leather armor, marred by teas. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Ernest and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ernest discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ernest fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
