The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now owns his own business.

History: The child of a Server, who enjoyed hunting, Dean was taken on many hunting expeditions. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
