History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Valorean abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
