Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Dilettante profession.

History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Zephan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Zephan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, John will drive conversation. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spy arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
