History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Chad was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Glassblower. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
