Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a tan shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and pastel pants. He keeps his long scarlet crest kept up in a rat tail. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently the stress of being a Ruler has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
