Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears his black hair up. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Hadarai was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to unite with his brother

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mord does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His fur is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Emerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Animal Trainer responsibilities is difficult; and retire the richest man in the south

His white crest is braided into rings. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: Salasar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
