History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Grûblik is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Grûblik hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elegant was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Flak grew up listening to his father's many stories. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
