History: The child of a Ploughman, who enjoyed hunting, Himo was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Baern abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kipper is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
