His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
