Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Serpent learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He has achieved small success as a Butcher.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
