History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

A gifted student he started as a Dyer, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
