Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His ears are large.

Personality: Ekemon is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vonbin embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Vonbin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy
