Hork was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and wants his loneliness to end

History: He was born into a rich family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter
