History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. History: Gifted from a young age, Bathin studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Bathin took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion.
