He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Bertram was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Gimble was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
