History: He was born in a small mountains village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. After months of barely getting by, Gerald managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a worn and beaten armor. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Alston was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Nicor liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
