History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. Through the years after Gomory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gomory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
